At this moment it's not legal to have people in the back of my Land Rover, because it's an ex-MOD Land Rover so it has licence plates for a commercial vehicle. Plans are to obtain a regular licence and MOT, such that people can legally be transported in the rear seats. It is uncertain that I get these registration plates, but the new seatbelts couldn't be the problem! I got a pair of used Defender seatbelts. Most fittingpoints are allready in the Land Rover. Just screw in some bolts and ready.

And this is how it looks finaly. It looks nice with the new seats. I've painted it all black behind the seats with some Hammarite. The sidepanels and the doors are still waiting for a decent paint job, I planned to do this in the near future as a part of the sound proofing project. It's the look that counts!

This is what it's looking from the backside. The retraction mechanism is held to the bulkhead by a bracket. There was a thread tapped hole allready. As the original mountaing points became useless because of the wider Honda CRX seats, I used the fixing points for the seatbelts of the centre seat as a mounting point for the buckles.

And a detailed photo of the mounting on the seatbase.

And another detailed photo of the corner bracket. This was the only bracket which wasn't in the Land Rover allready. I ordered it at Paddock Spares and received it just two days later!
